Cabernet Sauvignon is King
Cabernet Sauvignon – The King of Napa Valley
Your Guide to Napa Valley Cabernet
In Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon will forever remain king. At Castello di Amorosa, we proudly produce a diverse collection of Cabernets, from single-vineyard expressions to carefully crafted blends. These wines reflect both the personality of the winemaker and the unique character of Napa’s growing regions.
The valley floor stretches 30 miles long and 5 miles wide, creating limited vineyard space. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates plantings, representing over 60% of Napa Valley grapes, yet the region accounts for only 0.4% of total U.S. wine production.
Originating in France in the 1600s, Cabernet Sauvignon was born from a natural crossing of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Today, it remains one of the most sought-after varietals among collectors worldwide.

Cabernet Sauvignon Blends
Wine blends often deliver greater complexity than single varietals. By combining fruit from multiple vineyards, winemakers can achieve balance between fruit, acidity, tannin, alcohol, and oak. These blends highlight the strengths of Napa Valley’s top AVAs, including Rutherford, Yountville, Coombsville, and Diamond Mountain District.
Each vintage is unique, allowing winemakers the creative freedom to craft the best possible expression of the year.
Single-Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Each vineyard brings its own personality to the wine. Our single-vineyard Cabernets showcase the terroir of Napa’s most coveted sites, delivering wines that are elegant, intensely flavored, and deeply expressive of their origin.
No two vineyards are alike—and each bottle tells that story.
Sinalunga, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Sinalunga represents the pinnacle of Castello di Amorosa’s winemaking. Named after the Tuscan commune that inspired the Castello itself, this limited-production wine reflects decades of passion, craftsmanship, and dedication.
